Titled La fodera che va forte, the colourful design shows motorcyclists with their jackets open to reveal the bright lining beneath. Gruau's wonderful sense of movement turns an often hidden part of clothing into the focus of the advertisement.

René Gruau's work brought the elegance of fashion illustration into advertising. His confident lines and striking use of colour could suggest a whole character or mood with remarkably few marks. Here, the lively motorcycle scene gives that familiar sophistication a playful, energetic twist.

Framing Options

Framed posters come with a timeless made to measure custom frame available in black, white, natural oak or walnut colour.
