Collection: ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1980s POSTERS

The 1980s gave poster collectors an unusually broad mix of material. It was a great decade for illustrated blockbuster cinema, but also for exhibition posters, music, fashion, sport and graphic advertising. Photography became increasingly prominent while painters and illustrators were still creating some of the era's most memorable campaign artwork.

Our 1980s collection includes original posters from those different worlds. Some were made for a single exhibition or event; others belonged to major international film and advertising campaigns. The individual listing gives the date, format, condition and relevant background so you can see exactly which version has survived.
