Collection: ORIGINAL VINTAGE ROY LICHTENSTEIN POSTERS

Roy Lichtenstein's comic-book dots, hard outlines and speech bubbles are among the most recognisable images in Pop Art, and they have appeared on exhibition posters for museums and galleries around the world. Those posters offer a very different way to collect his work: as pieces made to announce a particular exhibition rather than as substitutes for the paintings themselves.

This collection brings together original exhibition and cultural posters featuring Lichtenstein's artwork. The distinction between the image and the physical poster matters, so each listing identifies when the poster itself was issued, the institution or event behind it, its format and its condition wherever known.
