Collection: Original Vintage Music Posters

Music posters can include concert and tour advertising, festival posters, venue material and promotional campaigns connected with an artist or release. We describe what each poster was actually made for rather than treating every image of a musician as the same kind of object.

The useful clues depend on the poster, but date, printer or promoter, paper, printing method, dimensions and the history of the event can all help. Later decorative copies often reproduce a famous design without being part of the original campaign, so the physical issue matters as much as the artwork.

Yes, but signs of use can be part of the history of genuine promotional material. Pinholes, folds or handling may be understandable on a poster that was actually displayed. We describe the individual copy so you can distinguish normal age and use from more significant damage or restoration.
