Created in 1957 by celebrated French poster artist Jean Colin, this "Les Kisslene de Carven" poster embodies the elegance and sophistication of mid-century French fashion advertising. Featuring Colin's bold graphic style and refined use of colour and composition, the design perfectly captures Carven's youthful, modern aesthetic that helped distinguish the fashion house in postwar Paris.
Founded in 1945, Carven built its legacy by bringing youthful, accessible Parisian couture to an international audience, becoming one of France's most influential fashion houses of the postwar era. This vibrant piece is in excellent condition with striking colour.
Framing Options
Framed posters come with a timeless made to measure custom frame available in black, white or natural oak colour. Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.
Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
