Collection: ORIGINAL VINTAGE SALVADOR DALÍ POSTERS

Salvador Dalí's name appears on posters in several very different contexts, from exhibitions of his work to commissions that used imagery created specifically for advertising. One of the most unusual is the series associated with French Railways, in which Dalí's visions of different regions of France became travel advertising.

That variety makes identification important. An original promotional poster carrying Dalí's artwork is not automatically an original Dalí print, and later exhibition posters should be dated to the exhibition that produced them. We describe each piece according to what the physical poster actually is, including its date, issuer, format and condition.

For more on those distinctions, see our authenticity guide.
