Collection: ORIGINAL VINTAGE FOOD & DRINK POSTERS
Food and drink advertising has produced some wonderfully direct poster design. A bottle, a plate, a character or a memorable line often had to do all the work, which is why campaigns for aperitifs, beer, biscuits, chocolate and everyday groceries can still feel remarkably lively decades later.
This collection brings together original food and drink posters from different countries and periods. Rather than treating a famous brand name as the whole story, we look at the individual campaign: who designed it where known, when it was issued, its format and how the surviving copy has aged.
These posters were commercial objects before they became collectable ones. Our condition guide explains the wear you may encounter, while our framing guide covers displaying original paper safely.
