In 1998, the iconic Trapholt Museum for Modern Art and Design in Denmark ran the exhibition “The World of Charles & Ray Eames,” a major retrospective that celebrated the duo’s groundbreaking design legacy through iconic furniture, films, and prototypes—a showcase of their creative breadth and impact.
The Eames' left a lasting legacy by revolutionising modern design through their pioneering use of materials, human centred approach, influencing generations of designers across furniture, architecture, and visual culture. This mid century styled design features several of the iconic chairs from the brothers and is in mint condition.
Framing Options
Framed posters come with a timeless made to measure custom frame available in black, white or natural oak colour. Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.
Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
