Released in 1967, "Luv" is a romantic screwball comedy directed by Clive Donner and starring Jack Lemmon, Peter Falk and Elaine May. Adapted from Murray Schisgal's successful Broadway play, the film follows the despairing Harry Berlin as his old friend Milt attempts to solve his own marital problems by encouraging Harry to romance his neglected wife, Ellen.
The film is notable for uniting three distinctive comic performers and for translating a Tony-nominated stage hit into a colourful, fast-moving screen farce. This original US one-sheet poster was issued for the film's original theatrical release and is presented in very good condition, making it an appealing piece of 1960s comedy and Hollywood advertising history.
