This original poster was produced for the 25th Anniversary Newport Jazz Festival in 1978, featuring a vibrant portrait of Duke Ellington by renowned American artist LeRoy Neiman. Showcasing Neiman's energetic brushwork and bold use of colour, the artwork celebrates both the enduring legacy of jazz and one of its greatest musical pioneers in Duke. The festival was played by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Dave Brubeck, and Herbie Hancock that year.
Founded in 1954, the Newport Jazz Festival helped establish jazz as a global cultural force, hosting many of the genre's greatest performers and remaining one of the world's most prestigious music festivals.
Framing Options
Framed posters come with a timeless made to measure custom frame available in black, white or natural oak colour. Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.
Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
