This stunning poster was created in 1960 to advertise British Railways routes to Southend-on-Sea, as well as Westcliff-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea, Thorpe Bay, and Shoeburyness in Essex in England.
The artwork from Frederick Griffin (1906-1976) depicts a summers day over the Southend seafront to emphasize the "High Sunshine - Low Rainfall" messaging of the advertisement. Frederick Griffin was well known for his commercial works for the likes of British Railways and other transport companies of the era. The poster was published by British Railways (Eastern Region) and printed in Great Britain by Jordison & Co Ltd.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
