Released together in 1968, this Walt Disney programme paired the live-action comedy "The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit" with the animated featurette "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day". Dean Jones stars in the main feature as an advertising executive who promotes a headache remedy by entering his daughter’s horse in the show-jumping circuit, while Pooh and his friends face a stormy day in the Hundred Acre Wood.
Norman Tokar directed the equestrian comedy, which also stars Diane Baker and Kurt Russell. "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day", directed by Wolfgang Reitherman and featuring Sterling Holloway as Pooh, won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film and became one of the most cherished instalments in Disney’s Pooh series.
This original US one-sheet was issued for the films’ 1968 theatrical double-bill release. The combined artwork brings together live-action family comedy and classic Disney animation, and the poster is presented in Very Good condition as a distinctive original collectible.
