You're My Everything

Released in 1949, "You’re My Everything" is a Technicolor musical comedy directed by Walter Lang and starring Dan Dailey and Anne Baxter. Beginning in 1920s Boston, the film follows performer Tim O’Connor and his starstruck admirer Hannah Adams, whose accidental Hollywood screen test turns her into a silent-film celebrity before marriage, motherhood and their daughter’s own film career place new pressures on the family.

Produced by Twentieth Century-Fox, the film affectionately spoofs the changing face of Hollywood from silent pictures to the sound era. Baxter prepared for the role by studying Clara Bow, while the production also features a memorable appearance by Buster Keaton. Its lavish premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre reinforced the film’s nostalgic celebration of studio-era show business.

This original US one-sheet poster was issued for the film’s original 1949 theatrical release. An authentic piece of Technicolor musical advertising, the piece is in great condition.
