Depicting the some of the wonderful things that make the City of Angels so iconic - actors and actresses in costume performing scenes in front of film cameras, beautiful palm trees, and of course - the famous Cinderella Castle at Disneyland - this charming piece was created in 1960 to promote Greyhound bus routes to Los Angeles.
Founded in 1914, Greyhound still operates the largest intercity bus network in the USA, and when this piece was produced in 1960, it was near the height of its success, challenging both rail and plane travel. This mid-century poster features fantastic colourful artwork from G Roth and is in mint condition.
Framing Options
Framed posters come with a timeless made to measure custom frame available in black, white or natural oak colour. Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.
Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
