Collection: ORIGINAL VINTAGE ROGER KASTEL POSTERS

Roger Kastel created two images that alone would secure a place in film-poster history: the swimmer suspended above the shark for Jaws and the sweeping “Gone with the Wind” composition used for The Empire Strikes Back. Both became campaign images recognised far beyond the original cinema posters.

That familiarity makes the physical poster especially important. Kastel's artwork appeared in different countries, sizes and releases, and later reproductions are common. This collection focuses on original cinema issues, with the specific release, country, format and condition described on each listing.

Our authenticity guide explains the distinction between original promotional posters and later decorative copies.
