Beautiful mid century marvel for British Airways. Created in 1947, this piece advertises the British Overseas Airways Corporation, British European Airways, and the British South American Airways. This stunning design with vibrant colour showcases the many continents and routes the carriers could reach.
This poster was created before BOAC absorbed BSAA in 1949, and before the Civil Aviation Act of 1971 which saw the merge of BOAC, BEA, Cambrian and Northeast Airlines to create British Airways as we know it today. A very rare and wonderful piece of aviation and design history, this piece is in mint condition.
