Contratto

Founded in 1867 in Italy by Giuseppe Contratto, Contratto began as a winery before producing vermouths and liqueurs in 1920. This stunning extra-large poster features artwork from Leonetto Cappiello and depicts a woman in a leaf with the Vermouth, and advertises the Canelli region that the brand hails from.

One of the most iconic poster designers of all time, the French-Italian artist Leonetto Cappiello worked with many brands to create a number of varied posters across the early part of the 20th century.

Framing Options

Framed posters come with a timeless made to measure custom frame available in black, white or natural oak colour. Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.

International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
