Rather than an illustration, the poster uses a photograph, set above KLM's striped tail fin with its crown emblem and the slogans 'The World Over' and 'The World's First Airline', a claim KLM still makes as the oldest airline operating under its original name.
Beautiful 1960 poster promoting KLM Royal Dutch Airlines routes to France. Depicting a beautiful French castle surrounded by water, the blue toned design is a fantastic mid century marvel. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is the flag carrier of the Netherlands, founded in 1919 and continues strong to this day.
