This original 1988 screenprinted poster was created for Art Attack on AIDS, bringing Keith Haring's distinctive graphic style to the campaign against the AIDS crisis. The powerful central design combines his clear lines and energetic figures with the information for the event, reflecting the artist's commitment to using art for social awareness.
Keith Haring developed an unmistakable visual language of energetic figures and clear, flowing lines. Emerging from New York's art scene in the 1980s, he used that accessible style for public art, exhibitions and campaigns addressing the social issues of his time.
