Designed by Émile Regnault in 1936, this striking poster promotes "Le Vray Mistère de la Passion", the celebrated theatrical production staged in the magnificent setting of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Inspired by medieval mystery plays, "Le Vray Mistère de la Passion" helped preserve one of France's oldest theatrical traditions, celebrating religious history through spectacular public performances that captivated audiences for generations. This wonderful piece depicts the play in front of the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral and has vibrant colour.
