This wonderful poster reproduces René Magritte's celebrated Son of Man, with the bowler-hatted figure and apple creating an instantly recognisable image. Printed in 2014, this larger offset edition has no surrounding white border, allowing the artwork to fill the sheet. It is a later reproduction rather than a print made during the artist's lifetime.
Belgian artist René Magritte became one of the great figures of Surrealism, creating beautifully clear images in which familiar objects behave in unexpected ways. His work explores the relationship between what we see, what we recognise and what remains hidden.
02 — Framing
Framing Options
Every frame is custom made to measure for your poster in our UK workshop using conservation materials.
Choose from our four core finishes — Black, White, Natural Oak and Walnut — or explore eight additional options: Red, Green, Blue, Teak, Gold, Black + Gold, Antique Gold and Silver. All can be framed with or without a mount.
Looking for something different? Choose “Other (Please Specify)” and tell us what you have in mind.
Please allow up to 14 working days for framed orders. As every frame is handmade to measure for your chosen poster, framed orders cannot be cancelled or returned once framing has commenced, except where faulty or otherwise required by law.
