Disney's Song of the South was released in 1946, combining live action with animation in a story built around the Uncle Remus tales. The film has had a complicated history because of its depiction of race and the post-Civil War American South, and Disney has not given it a home-video release in the United States.
This original US Half-Sheet dates from the film's 1946 release. It survives in fair condition with visible fold marks, some discolouring along the folds and small tears; it was previously folded and is now stored rolled.
