Starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and so many more, Star Wars (retroactively titled Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope) was released in 1977 and forever changed the face of cinema. Written and directed by George Lucas, the film began a phenomenon franchise which is still going as strong as ever today.
This wonderful and rare "Style-D" original release poster was created in 1978 as part of the extended first release of the landmark "blockbuster" film. Featuring brilliant artwork by the legendary Drew Struzan, this design is said to be George Lucas' favourite. This first release 1978 poster is in mint condition and has been linen backed to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.

Please allow up to 14 working days for framed orders. As every frame is handmade to measure for your chosen poster, framed orders cannot be cancelled or returned once framing has commenced, except where faulty or otherwise required by law.

Unframed posters ship FREE worldwide and are securely packed in a reinforced cardboard tube. We aim to dispatch within 2 working days, although this may be slightly longer during busy periods.
Framed orders are made to measure and can take up to 14 working days to dispatch. UK shipping is free on all orders. International framed shipping is a flat rate of £155. More information on our shipping here.
