The Empire Strikes Back was released in 1980, with Irvin Kershner directing the darker second chapter of the original Star Wars trilogy. The film introduced Yoda and Lando Calrissian and remains one of the most celebrated entries in the series.
This original 24 x 36 inch teaser poster was produced in advance of the film's 1980 release and centres on the unmistakable image of Darth Vader's helmet. It is in near mint condition; ageing, handling marks and Blu Tack residue are confined to the reverse and are not visible from the front.
