Issued for the 79th Academy Awards, this official poster promotes the ceremony held on February 25, 2007, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, the event celebrated films released in 2006, with Martin Scorsese’s "The Departed" winning Best Picture and taking four awards, including Scorsese’s long-awaited first Oscar for Best Director.
The ceremony represented a memorable year in modern cinema, with "Dreamgirls" receiving the most nominations and films including "Babel", "Little Miss Sunshine", "The Queen", "Letters from Iwo Jima" and "An Inconvenient Truth" recognised across the major categories. Jennifer Hudson won Best Supporting Actress for her debut screen performance, while the broadcast drew an audience of almost forty million viewers in the United States.

International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size.
