This original 1998 poster for Willi's Wine Bar features the colourful, playful artwork of Spanish designer Xavier Mariscal. Known for his expressive drawing and broad design work, Mariscal brings a wonderfully sociable character to the image. This special edition was screenprinted by Michel Caza in Paris on Canson paper.
Willi's Wine Bar began its poster series in 1982, bringing art and wine together through commissions with a wide range of artists. Each design offers a different interpretation of the pleasure of sharing wine, and Mariscal's expressive figures and lively colour fit that spirit beautifully.
