Frequently Asked Questions

Are these Disney posters original theatrical or promotional issues? +

The collection focuses on original Disney cinema and promotional posters, not modern decorative reproductions. An original poster is not necessarily unique: many were printed in quantities for a release or campaign. We identify the date, country and format of the individual issue wherever possible.

Why can the same Disney film have different original posters? +

Disney films were released and re-released across many countries, often with different artwork and formats. A poster for an original release, a later theatrical re-release and an international campaign can all be genuine originals for their respective issues, which is why the date and territory matter.

What should I check before buying an original Disney poster? +

Check the film, release date, country, format and condition rather than relying on the artwork alone. For films that returned to cinemas several times, those details distinguish an original poster for one release from an original poster for another.
