Andy Warhol - Querelle (Green)

Beautiful limited edition of 3000 poster for Rainer Werner Fassbinder's final film "Querelle". Designed by the iconic Andy Warhol, the poster marked the pop artists perhaps most famous foray into film posters. This original first release lithograph poster was created for the original promotion of the film in 1983 and was offered in several colours. 

The leading figure in the pop art movement, Andy Warhol's work continues to pose questions about the line between art, advertising, celebrity. This very rare piece is in mint condition with striking colour. 

Framing Options
