Apocalypse Now (German)

One of the most troubled productions ever, and widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all-time, "Apocalypse Now" was directed, produced and co-written by Francis Ford Coppola and released in 1979. Staring Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, Martin Sheen, Frederic Forrest, Albert Hall, Sam Bottoms, Laurence Fishburne, Harrison Ford, and Dennis Hopper. Nominated for eight Academy Awards at the 52nd Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director (Coppola), and Best Supporting Actor for Duvall, it went on to win for Best Cinematography and Best Sound.

This original release German A1 poster is from the first release of the film in 1979 and is the most sought after and rare design from the film. Featuring the iconic image of Brando's Colonel Curtz squeezing water over his head by the great poster artist Bob Peak, this piece is in fantastic condition.
