This unusual 1941 cinema poster brings together two major John Ford films, The Grapes of Wrath and Tobacco Road. Ford's adaptation of John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath stars Henry Fonda as Tom Joad and follows the Joad family as they leave Oklahoma during the Great Depression and travel west to California.
Tobacco Road, released the following year, was adapted from Erskine Caldwell's novel and the long-running stage version, with a cast including Charley Grapewin, Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews. This original poster is in very good condition, retaining strong colour with only light fold marks and a very small tear along a fold line.
