Depicting the iconic Disneyland Sleeping Beauty castle with a happy family at the gates, this charming piece was created in 1960 to promote Greyhound bus routes to Los Angeles to visit Disneyland. Founded in 1914, Greyhound still operates the largest intercity bus network in the USA, and when this piece was produced in 1960, it was near the height of its success, challenging both rail and plane travel. This beautiful poster by a sadly anonymous artist invites people to "Go Greyhound" to the still only quite recently opened theme park in Anaheim. The world renowned Disneyland remains the most visited park by cumulative attendance in the world.
One of the rarest and most sought after travel posters for Disneyland, this wonderful mid century marvel is in fantastic condition and backed on linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.
