This original 1961 US half-sheet places Paul Newman and Piper Laurie beside bold red title lettering, with Jackie Gleason’s portrait completing the horizontal design. The poster is professionally mounted on linen.
Robert Rossen’s drama follows talented pool player Fast Eddie Felson as he challenges Minnesota Fats. Newman, Gleason, Laurie and George C. Scott give the film a strong ensemble, while its portrait of ambition carries well beyond the pool hall.
