Billy Wilder's Love in the Afternoon was released in 1957, starring Audrey Hepburn, Gary Cooper and Maurice Chevalier. Set in Paris, the romantic comedy brings Wilder's wit to the story of a young woman and an older American businessman, with the city providing a wonderfully elegant backdrop.
This original 1957 US One-Sheet features the wonderful minimalist design by Saul Bass. The dark field, colourful names and playful central motif give the poster an unmistakable graphic identity.
