This poster was created in 1955 to promote National Airlines routes to San Diego. Reading "The Airline of the Stars" due to their popularity with celebrities in the era, the beautiful poster depicts the famous Balboa Park in sunny San Diego.
Founded in 1934, National Airlines was one of the larger United States airlines of the mid 20th century until 1980 when it was acquired by Pan Am Airlines. This brilliant poster is in near mint condition from the heyday of aviation.
