Featuring the great French impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir's painting "Blonde With a Rose" from 1915-17, this beautiful poster was created in 1989 to promote the exhibition "L'Oeuvres Ultime" or "The Ultimate Works".
Featuring Renoir, Cezanne and Dubuffet, the exhibition was held at Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence between July and October 1989. Galerie Maeght opened their Parisian gallery in 1946 after its initial formation in Cannes in 1936 and became renowned for showcasing a wide range of contemporary artists from Bacon to Matisse.
