Originally released in 1967, "The Gnome-Mobile" is a Walt Disney musical fantasy comedy directed by Robert Stevenson and starring Walter Brennan, Karen Dotrice, Matthew Garber, Tom Lowell and Ed Wynn. Brennan plays both a kindly timber magnate and an elderly gnome, while two children attempt to protect a hidden community of gnomes and preserve their woodland home.
Based on Upton Sinclair’s novel "The Gnomobile", the film was one of the final productions personally supervised by Walt Disney. It reunited Dotrice and Garber after "Mary Poppins", included a title song by the Sherman Brothers and marked the final screen appearances of both Garber and Ed Wynn, giving it lasting importance for Disney collectors.
This original US one-sheet was issued for the film’s 1976 theatrical re-release.
