Written and directed by the great Jacques Demy, the French New Wave musical classic "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg", or "Les Parapluies de Cherbourg" was released in 1964 to great acclaim. Winning the Palm d'Or at the 1964 Cannes Film Festival, the film was also nominated for 5 Academy Awards.
This wonderful later poster with design by Chica is from the re-release of the film in France with Dolby Stereo sound and is in fantastic condition.

Unframed posters ship FREE worldwide and are securely packed in a reinforced cardboard tube. We aim to dispatch within 2 working days, although this may be slightly longer during busy periods.
