The eighth New York Film Festival was held at Lincoln Center in September 1970, continuing the festival's role in bringing major international and independent films to New York audiences. The annual event had been established in 1963 and quickly became an important part of the city's film calendar.
This first-edition festival poster, titled "Short Cuts", was designed by American artist James Rosenquist and features colourful film-reel imagery. It remains in mint condition with strong, unfaded colour.

Unframed posters ship FREE worldwide and are securely packed in a reinforced cardboard tube. We aim to dispatch within 2 working days, although this may be slightly longer during busy periods.
