This poster is for the 1983 America's Cup. The legendary race saw the Royal Perth Yacht Club end the New York Yacht Club "Liberty's" 132 year winning streak, the longest in sport.
The wonderful design depicts a boat racing in the rough waters passing by the iconic Statue of Liberty in New York City, and was created by noted Italian poster artist Ugo Nespolo, best known for his works with the likes of Campari. This poster is in mint condition and is linen backed to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.
