Pierre-Laurent Brenot’s colourful showgirl fills this original 1977 poster for Allez Lido. Feathers, costume and elegant lettering give the design the glamour of the Paris revue, produced by René Fraday and Donn Arden.
Printed by Lalande Courbet in Wissous, the poster comes from the estate of Donn Arden and is mounted on linen. Brenot’s fashion-trained line gives the figure its lively sense of movement.
