The Great Mouse Detective

Originally released in 1986, Disney’s "The Great Mouse Detective" was reissued in 1992 as "The Adventures of the Great Mouse Detective". Featuring the voices of Barrie Ingham, Vincent Price, Val Bettin and Alan Young, the animated mystery follows Basil of Baker Street as he helps a young mouse rescue her kidnapped toymaker father from the villainous Professor Ratigan.

Directed by John Musker, Ron Clements, Burny Mattinson and Dave Michener, the film was a critical and commercial success after the disappointment of "The Black Cauldron." Its performance helped restore confidence in Disney feature animation and is often credited as an important bridge to the Disney Renaissance, while Vincent Price’s exuberant Ratigan has become one of the studio’s most memorable villains.

This original US one-sheet was issued for the film’s 1992 theatrical re-release rather than its initial 1986 run.
