BOAC - VC10 Economy Class

Beautiful mid century marvel for BOAC, or the British Overseas Airways Corporation. This brilliant design was created in 1965 to advertise the VC10 models upgraded Economy class seats, reading "The most comfortable economy class seat in the world". The great image sees a smartly dressed man comfortably stretched out in seats seemingly much larger than Economy in modern planes. 

This poster was created in the 1960s, before the Civil Aviation Act of 1971 which saw the merge of BOAC, BEA, Cambrian and Northeast Airlines to create British Airways as we know it today. A very rare and wonderful piece of aviation and design history, this piece is in excellent condition. 

Framing Options
