Dear Brigitte

Released in 1965, "Dear Brigitte" is a family comedy produced and directed by Henry Koster, starring James Stewart, Glynis Johns, Billy Mumy, Fabian and Ed Wynn. Stewart plays an idealistic professor whose young son, a mathematical prodigy with little interest in numbers, uses his extraordinary ability to win money at the racetrack while nurturing an all-consuming admiration for French film star Brigitte Bardot.

Based on John Haase’s novel "Erasmus with Freckles", the film was the third family comedy made by Stewart with director Henry Koster, following "Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation" and "Take Her, She’s Mine". Brigitte Bardot’s appearance as herself provides the film’s memorable climax, and the production remains a charming example of Stewart’s popular 1960s domestic comedies.

This original US one-sheet poster was produced by 20th Century Fox for the film’s original 1965 theatrical release. It is presented in Very Good condition and remains an authentic, colourful collectible featuring one of Hollywood’s most enduring stars.
