One of the most iconic poster designs of all-time, this One-Sheet poster was created in 1956 for the first release of "Forbidden Planet". One of the most influential sci-fi films of all-time, the pioneering movie stars Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, and Leslie Nielsen.
Featuring the iconic image of Robby the Robot carrying an unconscious woman against a vivid otherworldly landscape, this gorgeous poster is from the original 1956 promotion of the film in Australia, and is exceptionally rare example that had not yet had the rating printed on, thus never displayed and in remarkable condition. The colours on the stone-lithograph are exceptional compared to the standard lithograph counterpart.
