Released in 1963, "Lassie’s Great Adventure" is a family adventure directed by William Beaudine and starring Jon Provost, June Lockhart and Hugh Reilly. Drawn from the long-running "Lassie" television series, the story follows Timmy Martin and Lassie after a balloon accident leaves them stranded in the Canadian wilderness, where they must survive a series of natural dangers.
The film brought one of television’s most famous animal characters to the big screen at the height of the series’ popularity. Its rugged outdoor setting, suspenseful survival story and the dependable bond between Timmy and Lassie helped it become a memorable chapter in the enduring Lassie franchise.
This original US one-sheet was issued for the film’s original 1963 theatrical release. Featuring classic adventure artwork centred on Lassie’s courage and the wilderness setting, the piece is in great condition.
