Razzia transforms a spinnaker into a globe in this elegant poster for the Louis Vuitton Acts of 2004, 2005 and 2006. Two yachts frame the composition beneath a clear blue sky, with the event ports listed along the bottom. Hand signed by the artist, it is a beautiful meeting of sailing, travel and graphic design.
The Acts formed part of the build-up to the 2007 America’s Cup, taking the competition to European sailing venues before the final events in Valencia. Razzia’s long association with Louis Vuitton produced some of his most memorable contemporary posters. His clean silhouettes and polished composition give this design a sense of scale and movement with remarkably few elements.
