This original 1995 screenprinted poster was created by Razzia for Les Amériques en Bal at the Zénith in Paris on 11 April. The event brought together Latin American and Caribbean performers, including Jorge Ben Jor. The colourful design transforms the map of the Americas into a dancing figure, capturing the energy of the programme.
Working under the name Razzia, Gérard Courbouleix-Dénériaz became known for bold poster designs that bring a painter's sense of colour to commercial illustration. His cultural and music posters often turn the subject into a single memorable image, making the dancing map a lovely expression of his approach.
