Man in Action - Motorcycle - Swierzy

Gorgeous mid century marvel from the Polish master Waldemar Świerzy. This larger format "Man in Action" motorcycle poster was created in 1969 and is one in a series of several psychedelic pieces the artist was commissioned to produce including a race car driver and a football player. 

Waldemar Świerzy was born in Katowice, Poland, he graduated from the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts in 1952. He was subsequently Professor in the University of Fine Arts in Poznań from 1965 and Professor in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1994. This beautiful piece was printed by Minerva in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1969 and is in beautiful unrestored condition.

Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.

International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
