Released in the United Kingdom in 1997, "Spice World" is a musical comedy directed by Bob Spiers and starring Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Brown as heightened versions of themselves. The film follows the Spice Girls through a hectic series of rehearsals, interviews, misadventures and surreal encounters as they race towards a major concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Created at the height of global "Spicemania," the film was a substantial box-office success despite largely negative contemporary reviews. Its playful, self-aware style, celebrity cameos and vivid snapshot of late-1990s British pop culture have since earned it a devoted following, and it is widely regarded as a cult favourite among Spice Girls fans.
This original US one-sheet was issued for the film’s original theatrical campaign, ahead of its North American release in January 1998.
