This original 1995 poster was created by legendary graphic designer Saul Bass for the 67th Academy Awards, celebrating Hollywood's most prestigious night through his unmistakably bold visual language. Featuring a stylised golden Oscar statuette assembled from dynamic geometric forms, the design combines simplicity, movement, and wit in the modernist style that made Bass one of the twentieth century's most influential designers.

One of the most hotly contested years in recent memory, the poster commemorates a memorable ceremony dominated by "Forrest Gump", with major wins for Tom Hanks, Jessica Lange, Quentin Tarantino, "The Lion King", and "Pulp Fiction". "Forrest Gump" famously bested "Pulp Fiction" and "The Shawshank Redemption" in the Best Picture.

Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
